Kerri is the head coach at Aqualina SSC and KS Synchro. Kerri is in charge of the team selections and also designs the choreography and music for all the swimmers routines. By coaching the land training and pool sessions Kerri understands each of the swimmers individual needs to ensure they get the most out of their synchronised swimming experience.
Kerri was a member of Aqualina SSC for 10 years and also competes in Masters with the assistant head coach Ayesha. Kerri's highlights include building up the team to be the most advanced it has ever been and she is very proud of winning the regional championship for the first time in the clubs recent history. She has worked along side international and national swimmers and has various qualifications including:
- Level 1 & 2 synchronised coaching
- Level 1, 2 & 3 synchronised assessor
- Synchronised fitness instructor
- Qualified Synchronised judge
Chairman and Coach
Tom runs regular committee meetings to ensure the smooth running of the club. He regularly seeks new opportunities for the club to receive funding and acts as a a first point of contact for any enquiries. Tom also plays an active role in coaching the team on poolside and an offical for the club at competitions. He also represents Herts ASA on the ASA east region synchronised swimming committee.
Assistant Head Coach
Ayesha is the assistant head coach at Aqualina. Kerri and Ayesha have swam together in Aqualina for many years in duets. Ayesha helps Kerri in the land training sessions and also helps in and out of the pool in the poolside sessions.
Vickey helps coach the Friday and Sunday poolside training. She is a basic assessor and helps assess swimmers taking skill grades 1 & 2. She has over 20 years of experience in synchronised swimming.
Secretary & Volunteer Coach
Karen is Aqualina’s Secretary and a parent volunteer. She minutes the content from committee meetings and A.G.M’s. Karen helps out organising all the clubs social events and also helps in competitions. Karen has recently passed her basic assessors qualifications and helps out on poolside when needed.
Club Kit Manager
Michelle is a parent volunteer who is in charge of ordering and stocking everything the swimmers need to perform synchronised swimming. From nose clips and hats to bags and jackets Michelle is the person to talk to about getting your kit in shape. Michelle attends the Stevenage poolside training every Friday night.
Sandra joined the Aqualina committee several years ago when her daughter joined the club. Sandras main role in the club is the treasurer, however like most committee members, she helps out where ever she can.
